About the Venue
We are hosting our reception in a tent on the grounds of Fonthill Castle located at 130 E Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.
Henry Chapman Mercer (1856-1930) built Fonthill Castle in 1912, both as a home and a showplace for his famed collection of Moravian tiles and other art works. The building is distinctive for being one of the first ever constructed using reinforced poured-in-place concrete, and its eclectic mix of Medieval, Gothic, and Byzantine architectural styles.
The custodians of the castle will be offering guided tours for our wedding guests during cocktail hour.

This is a reception, not a funeral for style, so bring it on!
